Taylor Bell
General Counsel & Co-Founder
Helping clients navigate the ever-changing compliance landscape, Taylor is an employment law attorney with a law degree and MBA from the University of Arizona. On top of keeping companies compliant, he also handles HRPivot’s day-to-day operations. When not helping client’s achieve success, Taylor is likely hanging out with his three rowdy kids.

Shelley Coats
VP Human Resources Operations
With an MBA Degree in HR Management and more than 17 year of hands-on HR experience in a variety of industries including engineering, manufacturing, transportation and non-profit, Shelley provides executive level HR support to clients, in addition, to oversight of HR Pivots HR Account Management and Recruiting Services Teams. In her free time, she especially loves solving puzzles; sudokus, cryptograms and crosswords.
Merced Garza
Human Resources Generalist
With two designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and three licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Merced is an expert on employee relations, teamwork, project management and recruitment. He is also versed in developing safety-first cultures, training, policy development and employee retention efforts. After earning his BA, Merced lived in Germany for a year to learn the language.
Jennifer Kasheta
Human Resources Account Manager
Always striving to foster teamwork and leadership, Jennifer supports employee relationship needs and facilitates management training. A great listener and communicator, it is important to her to be relatable to employees and knowledgeable about the latest HR trends and compliance standards. A Massachusetts native, she has lived in AZ for 12 years and enjoys traveling with family and friends.
Shanon Peterson
Human Resources Generalist
A people person, Shanon uses her hands-on HR experience to ensure clients are receiving the support and tools they need for daily operations. She also specializes in employee morale and engagement. Shanon loves watching movies of all kinds with her family, especially Back to the Future and Star Wars.
Carmen Trejo
Human Resources Recruiting Supervisor
From job postings to screening, interviewing, on boarding and beyond, Carmen takes full cycle recruiting to the next level with her knack for growing relationships with clients and employees alike. With a management background, she excels at providing top customer service to everyone she interacts with and has experience with employment laws along with business growth. In addition to recruiting, this AZ native enjoys spending her free time with her grandson.
Lauren Buzbee
Human Resources Coordinator
Lauren’s role at HRPivot includes balancing job postings, screenings, interviewing and overall support for the Recruiting Operations Team. Utilizing organization and flexibility along with her background in retail management and student records, she’s a pro at multitasking. When she’s not working, she enjoys painting.

Brooke Connelly
Senior Human Resources Generalist
Taking on all aspects of HR including onboarding, orientations and employee relations, Brooke helps managers and team members interact and communicate effectively. With strong interpersonal and customer service skills, she is a pro at maintaining genuine, positive relationships with a variety of clients. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Human Resource Management and is a Buffalo Bills and Red Sox fan.

Jason Gile
Human Resources Recruiter
Responsible for aspects of full life cycle recruiting for high volume positions, Jason balances it all by creating effective and beneficial operational processes. With previous experience at Banner Health, he is a skilled problem solver and can quickly identify client needs (that they might not even know they have!). A Phoenix native, he loves anything competitive from sports to coin flipping.
Sarah Karnes
Human Resources Account Manager
With more than 15 years of hands-on HR experience, from Burton Snowboards to Peter Lik, Sarah is a seasoned pro in the areas of training, legal, employee relations, payroll and benefits. Always keeping empathy, ethics and organization in mind, she brings the highest level of HR support to clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, watching football and snowboarding.
Paul Jorgenson
President & Co-Founder
Paul is dedicated to providing clients with a better way to do HR. He specializes in educating business leaders on HRPivot’s innovative value and metric-driven approach to human resources while ensuring top customer experience and ROI. Paul has a finance background and is a University of Texas at San Antonio alum.
Cassandra Silva

Cassandra has more than 10 years of experience in Human Resources Management, with expertise in Property-Casualty, Social Services and Consulting industries. Cassandra earned her Master's degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Pennsylvania State University. When she's not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
